EASY REBATES
Central air conditioners: $400-$600
Central Hudson offers residential customers rebates from $400 to $600 for installing high efficiency central air conditioners. The higher the efficiency rating, the higher the rebate. Ductless split systems qualify for this rebate.
Central air-source heat pumps: $400-$600
Central air-source heat pumps are similar to central AC systems in that they cool your house throughout the summer. The added bonus is that they can work in reverse and heat your home during the spring and fall!
Electric heat pump water heaters: $400
Is your water heater unreliable or costly to operate? Central Hudson has a $400 rebate for energy efficient heat pump water heaters.
Home sealing: Up to $600
Leaky windows, doors and ducts in your home can reduce your energy efficiency by as much as 20 percent. Central Hudson offers rebates of up to $600 for using a BPI-certified SavingsCentral Trade Ally to professionally seal your home. Only customers heating their homes with electric or natural gas are eligible for incentives under this
program.
The following rebates are for natural gas customers:
Natural gas furnaces: $140-$420
If you are a natural gas customer, let us give you a rebate of between $140 and $420 on a new, energy-efficient hot air furnace. The higher the efficiency rating, the higher the rebate.
Natural gas boilers: $350-$700
If you are a natural gas customer, let us give you a rebate of between $350 and $700 on a new, energy efficient boiler. This rebate is for both water and steam boilers.
Indirect water heaters: $210
If you are installing a new, energy-efficient natural gas boiler, you can include an indirect water heater to heat your hot water instead of using a separate water heater. Our rebate is $210.
